LAMBORGHINI WON SALES RECORD IN 2015

A year never seen so many Lamborghini delivered units as 2015. The company had record sales last year to sell 3,245 units. It was the first time the company surpassed the three thousand cars. In 2014, best year so far, the number of cars sold had been 2,530. Despite the regular models Aventador and Huracán are largely responsible for the success, the company also had good results with special editions like the Centenario, which sold out before its release.
The trend is that 2016 will be even better for Lamborghini. The Italian company has hired 30 employees only in January to help meet the demand and plans the higher number of employees over 500 in the coming years. The biggest reason is the introduction of the third model of the brand, the Urus, which should hit the market in 2018. The production site should also monitor developments and almost double in size.
With the arrival of the Urus, the president of Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, estimates that production will rise to around five to six thousand units per year, but the company always tries less to produce than you want, because you want to be very exclusive.

The sporty SUV from Lamborghini will hit the market equipped with V8 biturbo engine 4.0 petrol and must compete with models such as the Audi Q7, the Volkswagen Touareg and the Porsche Cayenne. The concept for the car was introduced in 2012 in the Hall of Beijing as the company's first vehicle facing everyday. The production version, however, should have more space in the cabin and is not yet finished.
