The only copy of the 2006 Lamborghini Concept S failed to be sold at an auction

The only copy of the Lamborghini Concept S 2006 failed to be sold at an auction in New York City, USA. The model was presented at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland.
To have had a good feedback from the public in its presentation, the company decided to produce 100 units of the super sports, but the end of history only a copy was completed by the manufacturer. This occurred because of high production costs and also the long time that is spent for the manufacture of that vehicle was completed.

By having this feature to be a single car, it was expected that the Concept S (with only 180 km run) was a successful interest in the auction organized by Sotheby RM, but the car could not be sold because none of those present came to give the minimum bid that was being 2.4 and 3 million dollars, something like R $ 9.3 and R $ 11.6 million.
The Lamborghini Concept S is a two-door roadster manufactured in 2005 with all-wheel drive and equipped with engines 5.0 500 hp and 52 Nm automatic transmission and six-speed. According to the brand, the sport can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 325 km / h.
